In addition to having recorded at numerous studios across the U.S. throughout his career, Kevin Winard designed his own studio and for the past ten years has worked with clients remotely on their projects. Kevin takes great care in ensuring that every track that he sends off is cleanly edited, titled and labeled making it a no brainer for clients and engineers once they receive his work. "The whole purpose of doing a session remotely is for the client to save money by not having to go into a studio. If the tracks they receive aren't pristine and perfect then that costs them money in production and time which defeats the entire purpose in the first place so I take great pride in what I do", Kevin explains. " I want the artists to be happy, I want the producers to be happy and I want to make things as easy as I can for engineers, so that in the end, it's all a win-win".
Kevin recently upgraded his studio and is now running the Universal Audio 8p with UA's patented Unison Plugins. In addition to the Classic Bundle he also has the API Vision Channel Strip, The Neve 1073 Preamp and EQ Collection and the SSL 4000 E Channel Strip collection allowing for a warmth to digital that is unsurpassed in today's technology.
